ABOUT

Frank and Tiffany Hamrick met in 2012 while Tiffany was working at Maggie’s Attic of Florida in Mount Dora.  This started their love of each other and of wine… Tiffany liked to serve and sell wine and connect with her customers, while Frank enjoyed drinking it.  They married in 2013.  Tiffany continued to work at Maggie’s Attic and Frank joined the crew as well.  On the side, Frank started a hobby of making wine, developed a passion for it, and became very good at it.

 

Fast forward to 2021… Encouraged by friends Dean and Maggie from Dragon Flower Winery in Summerfield, Frank and Tiffany decided to start a winery where they would produce and sell their own wines.  An opportunity fell into their lap that year to lease an established vineyard in Howey-in-the-Hills, and then Hamrick Family Vineyards was formed.  After two annual harvests had been completed, the time came for the next logical step in the process … finding a location to make, serve, and sell their wines.

 

In August 2023, phase one of the construction process was completed and Hamrick Family Vineyards – Emporium opened. Here you can purchase Hamrick Family Vineyards merch, home décor and other gift items.  In October 2023, the Speakeasy opened featuring wines and beers from across the US and internationally.

 

Now that phase two of the construction process is complete, the team will be working on obtaining wine production licenses.
